“ Don’t Be Deceived By What You see On Social Media “ — Actress Joke Silva Reveals That Nollywood Actors Are Not paid that well

Legendary Actress Joke Silva has revealed the jaw dropping truth about the nollywood industry. According to her , actors in nollywood are not paid much as they show on social media. She also revealed that many of the actors and actress earning is poor when talking about the present economy, which means many of the Actress and actors are living a fake lifestyle on social media

According to her she said in reality , due to the economy in Nigeria one can not have such lifestyle unless they are doing other business that will sustain such lifestyle. She said this during her magazine cover done by Genevieve magazine where she spoke about fashion , the industry etc

"“Don’t be deceived by what goes on on social media. Obviously there is something else such actors are doing, perhaps other businesses to shore up their income. The reality is that on the earning capacity of an actor in Nigeria, you cannot have that sort of lifestyle in this economy. Yes part of our industry is to have glamour but also the other part is to have reality”. ~
