"2019: Bishop Oyedepo, Kukah, Sheikh Gumi join Obasanjo, Atiku in closed door meeting
Bishop David Oyedepo, the General Overseer of the Living Faith Church, Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Sokoto, Bishop Matthew Hassan Kukah and Kaduna-based Islamic scholar, Ahmad Gumi have joined the closed-door meeting between a former President Olusegun Obasanjo and Atiku Abubakar.
The meeting is holding at Obasanjo’s residence inside his Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL), Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta."
Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of PDP, is currently having a closed-door meeting with his former boss, Olusegun Obasanjo, at his Abeokuta home in Ogun State.
Both men fell out during their tenure, with Obasanjo vowing never to support Abubakar’s presidential ambition.
The visit to Obasanjo is of enormous significance, seeing how Obasanjo relentlessly told everyone who cared to listen that this deputy for eight years is unfit to hold the nation's highest office.
Abubakar, who recently emerged PDP candidate, hopes to convince the former president to support his ambition."
