Two Nigerian lecturers die, one injured in ghastly motor accident on their way home after attending a friend’s wedding in Jigawa

Two friends, Zaharadeen Hussaini Kaita and Saib Abbantea, were killed in a ghostly accident on their way back after attending a friend’s wedding in Malam Madori local government area of Jigawa State. The third friend, Yusuf Dot Java was seriously injured and hospitalized.

According to reports, the accident occurred along Ringim-Kano road. Zaharadeen Kaita was a lecturer with Isa Kaita Polytechnic Katsina- while Java was a lecturer at Nuhu Bakalli Polytechnic Zaria.

The groom took to his Facebook to pay his last respect to his late friends and to also wish their third friend quick recovery.

He wrote;

“Assalam. Thank you so much for attending my wedding. I hope you reach home safely. I really appreciate you for adding colour to my wedding. As for those that were unable to attend i thank you for the messages and prayers. However, i regret to announce the untimely exit of two of my friends who had a fatal accident on their way back home after the wedding (Zaharadeen Hussaini Kaita and Saib Abbantea (Isah Sani Birningwari)). they happen to be my good and close friends during my MSc at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. indeed this is a great lost and sad not only to their family members but including me. I always remember any time we spoke on phone the last question is ”when is your wedding day, in shaa Allah that day we must come to Mallam Madori”. I therefore, please solicit for your kind prayers, May their gentle soul rest in peace and may Jannatul firdausi be their final abode. as for Yusuf Dot Java i wish you speedy and quick recovery”
