Burkina Faso military kills at least 20 militants

The Burkina Faso military issued a statement on the evening of the 3rd, saying that the security forces of Burkina were in the northern part of the country in Rorum and Sulu early in the morning The province was attacked and at least 20 militants were killed by the military.

    The statement said three soldiers were killed in the crossfire and another seven were wounded. Security forces also seized motorcycles, weapons and ammunition and other supplies used by militants.

    No organizations or individuals have claimed to have caused the two attacks.

    Since 2015, there have been frequent attacks in Burkina Faso, and the security situation is grim.
