The Syrian news agency quoted local sources as saying that a Turkish military convoy was hit by a car bomb while passing by the town of Jelabulos in eastern Aleppo province, killing five Turkish soldiers and injuring 12 others. The wounded have been taken to Turkey.
The report also said that at noon on the 4th, a car parked in the street near the Arab Cultural Center in the urban area of Ras al-Ain, northwest of Hasakah Province, exploded, killing and injuring many civilians. The report did not say how many people were killed or injured.
According to information from the Syrian Human Rights Watch, based in London, England, two people were killed and six others injured in the explosion that day in Ras al-Ain. The wounded have been taken to a Turkish hospital across the border.
The towns of Jelablus and Ras al-Ain are currently controlled by the Turkish army and its supported Syrian opposition forces. On October 9 this year, Turkish troops entered northern Syria and launched military operations against Kurdish forces, which have long been regarded as terrorist organizations, occupying multiple areas near northern borders in Syria. Syria condemns this and says it will take all legal means to fight it.
